PRESS RELEASE: Playbikes for Youngsters and Mini-Moto Enthusiasts
Simple bikes can offer a great deal of fun. Kawasaki recognises this and builds the KLX110 mini enduro.

The KLX110 has been very popular being a great introduction to off road recreational riding for children and has developed a following as a “Pit Racer” with adults as well.

The aftermarket industry has seen this potential and there are many “Hot-Up” parts now available from big-bore kits to race exhausts.

The KLX110 is a small bike designed for younger riders, so now Kawasaki has introduced a bigger version to let riders 13 and over enjoy the KLX110 fun factor.

Numerous upgrades make the 2010 KLX110 even more fun to ride and the new KLX110L version is not only taller but also has a manual 4-speed transmission. Revised suspension offers increased resistance to bottoming and superior rough terrain performance plus roomier ergonomics accommodate a wider range of riders.

Electric start is now a standard feature and the engine has been given a power boost throughout the rev range. Being a four-stroke the KLX110 is clean and quiet and very rider friendly.

The bodywork and graphics gives the 2010 KLX110s the look of a true KX motocrosser.

Safety is paramount so Kawasaki has fitted an adjustable throttle limiter so adults can limit the performance for younger riders. Three separate heat shields are fitted to the exhaust system to offer added protection and a long lower chain guard make it difficult for fingers to get trapped.

The smaller 2009 KLX110 with the automatic clutch, 3-speed transmission is still currently available at a lower price.
